Debately is designed with privacy in mind. All your debate content is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your debate data to external servers.
Analytics & Tracking
We use minimal, anonymous analytics to understand app usage patterns. No personal information or debate content is ever included in analytics data.
Local Storage
Your debates, arguments, and settings are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data persists until you clear your browser data or use private/incognito mode.
Cloud Sync (Optional)
If you choose to sign in with Google, your data will be synced to secure cloud storage. You can delete your cloud data at any time by contacting support.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Authentication (optional sign-in)
- Firebase (cloud storage for signed-in users)
